Port Blair, Nov 16: A House meeting of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman was held today on 16.11.2023 under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman in the presence of Ms. R. Smitha, IAS, CEO, Zilla Parishad (ex-officio Secretary) which was attended by 14 Zilla Parishad Members of different Constituencies. Wherein, it was unanimously decided to name the Zilla Parishad Bhawan, South Andaman as “Atal Bhawan” keeping in the view of the sole contribution of the country former Prime Minister of India awarded with Bharat Ratna, Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Beside other decisions related to developmental activities of rural areas of South Andaman were also discussed.
