Port Blair, Sep 28: Hindi Pakhwada 2023 has been organized in the Zilla Parishad to showcase the importance of Hindi from 14th September to 28th September, 2023. During the fortnight, the officials have been encouraged to work in Hindi. A competition amongst the employees and elected representatives on Essay writing, Note making, General Knowledge etc. was held on the occasion and Certificate & Cash prizes were distributed to the winners.
In the concluding day function on 28/09/2023, the Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh and the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Ms. Smitha R. (IAS) emphasized for greater use of Hindi in the day to day official work.
