Port Blair, Sep 21: The team of Police Station Hut Bay has once again proved their efficiency and booked one person under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985 with a recovery of 230 grams of illicit Ganja.
A credible information was received on 17th September 2022 that one person is in possession of illicit Ganja at R.K. Pur Village and is planning to sell it illegally. Acting swiftly, a team comprising of HCs P. ThangaDurai, Raghu Kujur, PCs Safeer, Anbu Kumar and Nagveni was constituted under the supervision of SI Randhir Singh, I/c PS Hut Bay. The team successfully conducted a raid at R.K. Pur village and arrested one person namely Arbindu Sarkar S/o Late Prafulla Sarkar (60) yrs R/o R.K. Pur, Little Andaman and recovered 230 grams of illicit Ganja from his possession following due procedure.
