Port Blair, Sep 21: Mr. Naresh Chander Lal, Ambassador Swachh Bharat Mission A&N Islands visited the Mahatma Gandhi International School Brookshabad on 21st September 2022 to check the cleanliness and sanitation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
He interacted with the students and teachers and urged them to maintain cleanliness at their school premises as well as in their respective societies. He found the school satisfactorily clean. Mr. Naresh Chander Lal has also requested the students to save water as well as not throw their waste into the sea as the country is celebrating Swachh Sagar Surkshit Sagar Abhiyaan.
Ambassador also highlighted the students as our Andaman & Nicobar Islands became the historical first swachhSujal Pradesh of the country to save water.
The Chairman of the school Mr. Nalin Gulechha and the Principal accompanied Mr. Lal during the visit.
