On the occasion of Armed Forces Veterans Day on 14th January, I extend my heartiest wishes to all veterans in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. This day is celebrated each year on 14th January to pay tribute to the selfless devotion and exemplary service rendered by our veterans in the service of the Nation.
It is a matter of pride to note that the examples set by our veterans who endured sacrifices under testing circumstances are being emulated with honour and dedication by the present generations of the Indian Armed Forces. Our countrymen will ever remain indebted to each one of you for your immense contribution in the line of duty for shaping the future of the nation as an emerging global power. I urge each one of you to continue the dedicated efforts towards the nation building process in future as well.
