Port Blair, Jan 13: The Combined Annual Training Camp for Senior Division/Senior Wing Army and Naval NCC cadets concluded today at JNRM. The closing ceremony consisted of cultural programs and prize distribution ceremony. Camp Commandant Lt Col Pankaj modgil congratulated the cadets on successful camp completion and motivated them to do well in life.He also reiterated about the menace of drug addiction amongst the youth and told the cadets to abstain from drug and substance abuse. Caretaker Dr. Kusum kumari presented the vote of thanks. During the event Lt Cdr Ankit Pant, Principal JNRM Dr. H.K Sharma, Caretaker Dr V.K Sahu and PI staffs of both Army and Naval NCC were present.
As a part of their training, during the camp the cadets had both theoretical and practical lessons on Disaster Management, Health and Hygiene, Social Issues and service specific subjects like Drill, Map Reading and Firing. Also lectures and demonstrations were conducted by the Fire, Forest, Medical and Traffic department of Andaman and Nicobar.
