Port Blair, Dec 20: A delegation of Congress Leaders under the leadership of Mr. Rangalal Halder, President, ANTCC and Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee, ANTCC called on Rev. Father Visuvasam Selvaraj, Bishop of Port Blair and held deliberations with him.
The delegation comprised of Mr. Sanjay Meshack, President of A&N Catholic Association, Mr. Mohd. Rafique, Senior Congress Leader, Mr. Saji Varghese, Senior Congress Leader, Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Chairman, Adivasi Congress, Mr. Simson, Up-Pramukh, Ferrargunj, Mr. Eswar Rao, Congress Leader, Mr. Augustine Koliraj, Congress Worker and Mr. Jonas Andy, a Tribal Youth.
Mr. Rangalal Halder and Mr. TSG Bhasker honoured the Bishop with a Shawl and also presented him a Christmas Gift.
Host of issues were discussed for the betterment of the society and also the ways and means to fight social evils were reviewed during the meeting.
Mr. Halder and Mr. Bhasker expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Bishop for spending his precious time and welcoming them with warmth and love.
