Port Blair, Aug 17: CPI (M) Andaman & Nicobar State Organising Committee has decided to conduct a Party Fund Collection for raising a fund for the proper running of the party from 16th August to 15th September 2022 throughout the A&N Islands. Mr.Pronob Banerjee, senior leader inaugurated the Party Fund Collection at Port Blair by paying an amount to Party Fund. On the occasion, Mr. SP Kalairajan, CPI (M) State Organising Committee Member also donated an amount to the Party Fund.
CPI (M) is trying its best to expand its mass base in the islands, taking up people’s issues and conducting campaigns and agitation throughout the islands. CPI (M) State Secretariat is of the opinion that only the CPI (M) can sincerely and effectively take up the problems and demands of the islanders with the authorities concerned and conduct agitations on those issues. Corruption – both political and bureaucratic – is increasing in the islands and no political party except the CPI (M) is in a position to voice against it.
In the present situation, it is the responsibility of the CPI (M) to be at the forefront to fight for all sections of the people in these islands. CPI (M) would earnestly request all the islanders to contribute generously towards the Party Fund Collection to enable the party to continue to fight for the cause of the people.
