Port Blair, Oct 17: On 16th October 2022, Allu Arjun Army Andaman (AAAA ) conducted the SWACHTHA ABHIYAN in collaboration with Andaman Helping Hands, A&N Islands (AHHANI) and Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC) at Marina Park Beach.
It is honoured to say that once upon a time we just started with a couple of friends then The AHHANI has given recognition to us and now Sree Sakthivel Murugan Youth Club from Lamba Line has joined with us on 15 Oct 2022 for better cohesion towards the society for 100% elimination of garbage its everyone responsibility to make our city proud in SWATCHH SURVEKSHAN Rankings.
During this drive, 32 Volunteers were participated and removed off total 14 bags of garbage were collected from Marina Park Beach which consisted all type of mixed garbage like plastics materials, Alcoholic bottles (Two bags containing about 207 bottles), Tetra packs, Water bottles, wastage shoes, sandals, plastic bags followed by waste plastic rope etc.
The cleanliness drive was graced by Mrs. Rekha Sudhakar and Mrs. Bharti both teachers from Carmel Sr. Sec. School, Port Blair and Dr. Muruganandam, Scientist D’, RMRCPB, ICMR, Port Blair.
Volunteers raised slogans with great enthusiasm and patriotism as Clean Port Blair-Green Port Blair and Bharat Mata ki Jai at the end of the event.
They are thankful to each and every volunteer for their participation and support. Especially to Teachers and Students of Carmel Senior Secondary School, Port Blair, They always need this kind of support from all in future. Our Allu Arjun Army Andaman extends heartfelt gratitude towards PBMC for providing vehicle facility for removal and disposal of the accumulated garbage.
