Port Blair, Oct 17: The Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council Mrs. U. Kavitha inaugurated the Renovated Community Hall at Ward No-1 Haddo today The Senior Vice Chairperson Mr.Azizi-ur-Rahman, Councilors of various wards and officers / officials of the Council were present during the occasion. At the outset the Councilor Ward No-1 Mr. S.Shahul Hameed welcomed the gathering. The Civic Chief stated that the Community hall was in a dilapidated condition and the same has been renovated which was a long pending demand of the local populace of the area. She further stated that the Port Blair Municipal Council is working round the clock to provide state of art civic amenities / services to its citizen’s and many new ventures are in pipeline in this regard. Mr.S.Shahul Hameed, Ward Councillor while his address appealed the residents of the ward to take use of the facilities and also keep it neat and clean while utilizing the same.
