Port Blair, Sep 09: BJP delegation under the leadership of Mr. AjoyBairagi, State President along with Mr. JyotirmoyBawali, State General Secretary and Mr. R. Madhavan, member of Zilla Parishad, N&M Andaman District called on the Chief Secretary Mr. Keshav Chandra, IAS on 07th September 2022 in his office and discussed various issues related to N&M Andaman District like Health Department and CHC Rangat, Tourism Development issues of N&M District, Mobile Network connectivity issue of the District, Problems of National Highway and Transport related matters and the problem of Education Department like enhancement of wages of all the part-time workers of Education Department were taken up.
Apart from these, the burning issues related to Civil Defence Volunteer’s non-payment of salary and further extension were also raised for early settlement as they are agitating in front of D.C. Office Mayabunder.
The Chief Secretary gave a patient hearing to all the points and assured to look into the matter and try to resolve all the issues in a time-bound manner.
