AHHANI organizes Prestigious Awards felicitationceremony to encourage Students and Sanitation workers of ANI

Port Blair, Sep 09: An “Annual Prize Distribution and Felicitation” Function was organized by Andaman Helping Hands, A&N Islands (AHHANI) on 03rd September 2022 to encourage Students and Sanitation workers of A&N Islands at Fisheries Colony, near Tirupathi Temple, Ward No.14, Port Blair on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi 2022.

            For eight years AHHANI are making an effort to motivate all the future generations to score good marks in the board exams and succeed in their life and also collectively working with our Sanitation workers with the support of PBMC for City cleanliness and striving for Port Blair comes under the best “Swachh Survekshan City” under Garbage Free City Ratings released by Govt of India. Hence, the culture of cleanliness has to become an integral part of citizens’ lives.

            Accordingly, awards of various categories were distributed, which include Best Safai Mitra, Best Social Service Team, Little Sevak Award and Toppers of X and XII Class (2021-2022) are as follows: – 1. Mrs.KarunaLatha Toppo (Best Safai Mitra, Ward No. 9, PBMC), 2. Mr. Samba Murthi (Best Safai Mitra, Ward No. 14, PBMC), 3. Little Sevak Award to Master M. Dheeraj Sreenivas, S/o Dr.Muruganandam (Scientist D, RMRCPB, ICMR, Port Blair), 4. Toppers of 10th class (i). S. Yamuna, (ii). Y. Kalyani, (iii). V. Yogeshwari, 5. Toppers of 12th class (i). Rahul, (ii). Meenakshi, (iii). Hemaraju and 6. Best Social Service Team 2022 to Allu Arjun Army Andaman (AAAA).

            During the programme, AHHANI also felicitated Dr.Muruganandam, ‘Scientist D’, RMRCPB, ICMR. He advised all the students to work harder in life to get sure success. With the spirit of all members, we will strive more towards achieving ‘Swachh Port Blair’ and better education of children.
