On the Foundation Day of the State Maharashtra also known as Maharashtra Diwas, on 01st May 2024, I extend my warm wishes to the people of Maharashtra, residing in these Islands.
On this significant day, the State celebrates its rich cultural heritage and artistic expression. Maharashtra, established on May 1st, 1960, through the linguistic reorganization of States in India, is aptly known as the gateway of India. Maharashtra stands as a frontrunner among Indian States, excelling in agricultural and industrial output, trade, transportation, and education.
Maharashtra offers a captivating blend of attractions, enticing travelers of all ages and preferences to explore its majestic landscapes. From the bustling city of dreams, Mumbai, to the serene hill stations like Mahabaleshwar, Lonavala, and Khandala, the State presents a diverse array of temptations.
Wishing all Maharashtrians a joyful Maharashtra Diwas filled with pride, happiness, and prosperity. May the spirit of Maharashtra Day inspire us to strive for a brighter future, where every dream takes flight and every heart finds its true abode.
On this momentous occasion, I take the opportunity to extend warm greetings to the residents of Maharashtra residing in these Islands commemorating their Statehood Day.
