Port Blair, Dec 05: President of Andaman & Nicobar Rowing Association Mr. TSG Bhasker on Monday felicitated and interacted with the players participating in the 43rd Junior National Rowing Championship going to be held at Chandigarh from 07th to 12th December, 2023.
Mr. Bhasker congratulated the athletes for their selection in the A&N Rowing Team. He raised the morale of players participating in the championship and expressed confidence that they would bring laurels to the Islands.
The selected players from A&N Islands for the Championship are Ms. Sneha Toppo, Ms. P. Alagammal, Ms. B Haripriya, Ms. B. Haritha, Mr. P. Dinesh, Mr. S. Jagdish, Mr. Ajay Kerketta and Mr. Nitta Sivaram. These players are scheduled to leave Port Blair by Tuesday morning to reach Chandigarh.
Other Rowing players who attended the interaction meeting include Mr. Rahul Kumar Champi and Mr. Deep Sardar along with their Coach Mr. Manish Kumar Tiwari.
