Port Blair, Jul 24: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has congratulated Islands’ Cyclists EsowAlben and David Beckham, for being selected for the Team Sprint Cycling Event for participating in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games to be held from 28th July to 08th August 2022.
In a message, the Member of Parliament added that with this achievement our star cyclists EsowAlben and David Beckham have become an inspiration for the entire generation of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He added that in the past also Cyclists of Andaman and Nicobar Islands have made all Islanders proud.
This is the second time the Island cyclists are participating in theCommonwealth Games. Earlier, Ms. Deborah Herold, Island Cyclist participated in Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast, Australia in the year 2018. Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma gave his best wishes to both the star Cyclists.
