Port Blair, Jan 18: The 26th National Youth Festival was held in Hubli, Karnataka from 12thJanuary to 16th January 2023. This program was inaugurated by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on 12th January, 2023. The theme of thisyear’s National Youth Festival is “Developed Youth – Developed India”. Thebasic objective is to bring together the youth of the country in an effortto showcase their talents in various activities covering almost allsocio-cultural aspects of life, to provide an opportunity to amateur youngartists to express themselves and interact.
In this connection, this year a total of 5 youths from Nehru Yuva Kendra,Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands have participated in the NationalYouth Festival, namely Miss S.Varsha, Mr. S. Raj Shree, Mr. B. Madeshparticipated as trainers of Yoga and Medicine while Mr. Y Sai Kiran andMr. B. Jagdish Kumar Participated in photography contest and sculpturecontest under Young Artist Competition and Mr. Y Sai Kiran secured secondposition at National level in Photography contest.
