Port Blair, Jan 18: On January 17, 2023, WITH YOU (NGO) organized an awareness program onadolescent’s girl’s health and hygiene at the conference hall of Pranab KanyaSangha. The program aimed to educate and empower young girls on theimportance of maintaining good health and hygiene.
During the program, Dr. C Rani, Medical Officer (Homeo), CHC, Bambooflatspoke about the importance of daily hygiene and the diseases that can becaused by poor personal hygiene. She also requested the girls to comeforward with any questions or doubts they may have about their health.
In addition to the educational program, WITH YOU also distributed freesanitary pads to the inmates of the home.
The President of WITH YOU, Ms. V.K Mariyam Bibi, welcomed the guests andspoke about the purpose of organizing such awareness programs. Mrs. MaltiMondal, President, Pranab Kanya Sangh, expressed her gratitude to the NGOfor organizing such a meaningful program for the adolescent’s girls.
The members of WITH YOU spent a quality time with the inmates and arededicated to continue to educate and empower young girls on the importanceof their health and hygiene.
