Port Blair, Jul 25: Keeping in view the various complaints of road damage received from the general public, Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, and Mr. Dilkush Meena, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, South Andaman along with officials of NHIDCL inspected the NH-4 from Garacharma to Sippighat on 23rd July 2022 (Saturday) and the District Magistrate, South Andaman had directed the NHIDCL authorities for repair and renovation of the damaged patches of the road immediately.
To supervise the progress of work done by NHIDCL officials, an inspection of the stretch of road was again conducted by DC (SA) on 25th July 2022 upon which he expressed his satisfaction on the repairing work which has taken place immediately on the different damaged patches/potholes between Garacharma to Shippighat.
The local public has expressed gratitude to the A&N Administration for the immediate repairing of the road and making it commutable.
