Port Blair, Oct 11: Leaders of ANTCC held a Chatai Meeting with the Chota Nagpuri Adivasis (Ranchi Community) of Sunderpur village, Netaji Nagar, Little Andaman to ensure the victory of Congress candidates in Pradhan & Ward Members election in Netaji Nagar Panchayat.
The meeting was headed by ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, City Congress President Mr. Mohd Zubair, Chairman, Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Councillor, Ward No. 14 Mr. Y. Joga Rao, Congress Worker Mr. K. Durvasu & Pradhan Candidate Mr. Rathin Malakar.
They highlighted the failed policies of the BJP & emphasized the injustice carried out by BJP against tribal communities in the country. They also explained the people of the works to be carried out by Congress Party if comes to power in Netaji Nagar
Finally, they appealed the people to vote for Congress in the election & exuded confidence that Congress will form the Panchayat in Netaji Nagar with absolute majority
