Port Blair, Aug 18: ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker met the Superintending Engineer of the Electricity Department on Thursday evening and discussed various issues such as shortage of power supply, frequent fluctuation in power supply; the LNG project and power back up in the Solar Power Plant.
The SE assured that within the next 10 days the Electricity Department will introduce another 10 Mega Watt Power Plant which will help in reducing the power cuts. The SE, who is at the peak end of his career assured that before he retires, the situation of power supply will be improved.
Mr. Bhasker thanked the SE for his proactive steps in resolving the issue of power supply in the Islands.
