Port Blair, Oct 10: A massive public meeting was held at Hutbay Panchayat chaired by ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder. Large no. of citizens participated in the meeting & highlighted issues of their area.
The Congress leaders criticized the BJP Government and A&N Administration for the sufferings of the people of Little Andaman.
Prominent speakers & participants of the meeting include Mr. C Palaniswamy, Pradhan Candidate, City Congress President Mr. Mohd Zubair, Chairman, Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Councillor, Ward No 14 Mr. Y Joga Rao, Congress Worker Mr. K Durvasu & others.
All leaders of Congress voiced their concern over the rising prices of LPG, unemployment, poor facilities in PHC’s, GST on food items, re-survey of Voters Card etc.
The Congress leaders appealed to the electorate of Hutbay Panchayat to elect party candidates in the election for Pradhan & 14 Ward Members so that they discharge their duty as a responsible party.
