Port Blair, Dec 22: Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangam is organising 12th year Thiruvabharana Ghosha Yatra on 23rd December 2023. The Annual Festival of Swamy Ayyappan is celebrated with devotion. Thiruvabharana Ghosha Yatra is taking ornaments of Swamy Ayyappan, Sippighat in 03 different boxes. The Yatra starts from Ganesh Temple, Babu Lane at 9.30 am with decorated vehicles of Swamy Ayyappan with Pada Yatra of devotees from all temples wherever the Guruswamees are conducting Ayyappa pooja in South Andaman district.
It will pass through Bengali Club, Goalghar, Junglighat, Dairyfarm, Bathubasti and Annadanam will be served to the devotees at Murugan Temple, Teylerabad by 12.30 pm. After that the Yatra restarts at 3.00pm and proceeds to Ayyappa Temple, Sippighat by 5.00pm. The three Guruswamy will take the boxes from the 18 steps and hand them over to the Temple, Poojari. At 6:00pm Deeparadhana will be performed and afterwards Pushpabhishekam will be carried out. Annadanam to all devotees will be served from 6.00 pm onwards. All devotees are requested to join the Punya Thiruvabharana Yatra.
