Port Blair, Jul 07: Under the leadership of Mr. AjoyBairagi, State President, BJP A&N Islands, three members of delegation namely Dr.P.K.Mandal, State General Secretary, KissanMorcha, A&N Islands, Mr. TusarBepari, FCI Consultative member and Mr. K.V. Raj, Pradhan, Diglipur from North and Middle Andaman met Mr. Sunil Anchipaka, Secretary, RD & Panchayat Director, DC South Andaman on 07th July 2022.
They raised various important issues related to difficulties faced by the Panchayat of N&M Andaman. They told that due to the lack of recent guidelines on Panchayat Regulations there have been arising misunderstandings between PRI’s and Panchayat Secretaries which ultimately hinders the smooth running of Panchayat works.
Mr. Sunil Anchipaka very patiently heard the issues raised by the delegation and realized the gravity of the difficulties faced by the PRIs. He said that immediate training sessions will be conducted for all Panchayat Secretaries of the Islands. He further added that to resolve all the shortcomings he will visit Middle & North Andaman last week of this month and will be present during the training hours.
Mr. AjoyBairagi and the delegation highly appreciated the positive response of Mr. Sunil Anachipaka regarding all the issues raised by them.
