Port Blair, Jun 19: To spread the message about health and wellness, a Beach Yoga session was organized by Police Station Humfrigunj on 19th June 2022 at Wandoor Beach with the collaboration of Primary Health Centre Manglutan and Gram Panchayat Wandoor.
Mr. Adhir, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Wandoor and Mr. Anik Das, SHO PS Humfrigunj highlighted the importance of Yoga for living a healthy and stress-free life.
As part of community outreach, PRIs and villagers were also included in the programme and set forth basic yoga by HG(R)/Balakrishnan with a request to regularly perform at their homes to all Police personnel, Health workers, PRIs and local villagers. About 70 people attended the programme and made it successful.
