Civic Chief along with SVC and Chairperson Water Works Sub Committee called upon Secretary Urban Development and discussed various issues pertaining to the Municipal Limits

Port Blair, Apr 26: Mrs. KavithaUdhaya Kumar, Chairperson, PBMC along with Mr. Azizur Rahman, Sr. Vice-Chairperson, PBMC and Mr. S. Shahul Hameed, Chairperson, Water Works Sub-Committee called upon Mr. Kishore KshirsagarLakshman IAS, Secretary Urban Development on 26th April 2022 and discussed various issues pertaining to the Municipal Limits.
The Chairperson highlighted the issue of the water crisis in certain areas of Prothrapur, Bathubasthi, Garcharama and Dollygunj, which are prevailing for the last 10 days or more.
The Secretary (PWD), A&N Administration after a patient hearing informed the delegation that the water crisis issues have already been resolved and the situation will come to normalcy within a day or two in these areas.
The Civic Chief further discussed various issues pertaining to different wards of the Council and the Secretary (PWD) assured every possible help from his office to resolve all the issues in a phased manner.
