98-year-old senior citizen enthusiastically opts for Covid Booster Dose camp

Port Blair, Aug 21: While vaccine hesitancy prevails even among the youths, Mr. AzizurRehman, Senior Vice Chairman, PBMC announced that one of the senior citizen Mr. N. S. Malhotra, aged 98, r/o Goalghar, Ward No. 06 has become a role model by inoculating himself from the third shot of COVID vaccine from the Booster Dose camp held on 19th August at Census Office, Phoenix Bay, Ward No. 06.

            He served as a Deputy Secretary in Pradesh Council and got retired in the year 1983. The nonagenarian was feeling energized after his shot done. His enthusiasm was contagious for his age. He said that people fear the vaccine for no reason, and everyone should come forward for vaccination. There is a need for such role models in boosting vaccination programmes.
