Port Blair, Nov 18: On 17.11.2022, WITH YOU (NGO) organized a Women Health camp at TushnabadCommunity Hall in association with Directorate of Health Service and GramPanchayat, Tushnabad. The camp was inaugurated by Mrs. R. Smitha, IAS,Secretary (Social welfare). In her inaugural speech, the chief Guestappreciated the efforts of WITH YOU to organize such camps exclusively forwomen. She appealed to the women folk to take care of their health andinformed them that as per the survey done most of the women are suffering fromanemia. Further she said to take proper diet and visit the hospital in caseof any health issues. Mr. Anand Amrit Raj, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat,Tushnabad welcomed the Chief Guest & other guests and expressed hisgratitude towards the NGO for organizing such a camp in his Panchayat as itbenefits the rural people. Speaking on the occasion, Miss V. K. Mariyambibi, President WITH YOU (NGO) stated that the NGO is committed to servethe people especially the women in their health and upliftment insociety. She also expressed her gratitude towards the Administrationspecially Health department and PRI members for providing all support toMake the camp successful.About 150 people got benefited by this camp as Gynecologist, Pediatricianand medical specialists rendered their services. On this occasion,sanitary pads were distributed to the adolescents girls of GSSSTushnabad.The program was attended by Mrs. Padmawathi, Pramukh PanchayatSamity Ferrargunj, Mrs. Rashmi Goenka, Social worker, Mrs. Rajini ZPM,Tushnabad, Mr. P.
