Port Blair, Aug 21: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad, A&N Islands celebrated its 58th Foundation Day on the day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami 19th August 2022. VHP organized various programmes such as a Quiz competition on (Hindu culture, Mahabharat, Lord Krishna, and Ramayan), a Drawing competition on (Lord Krishna), kid’s fancy-dress competition (Lord Krishna and Radha) in 42 places and temples across the A&N Islands.
The activities of VHP are spreading across all the states of India as well as in more than 84 countries of the world.
On this occasion, the District Office of VHP was inaugurated at Diglipur by Mr. RabindraNath Chatterjee, President, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, A&N Islands. The need for an office at Diglipur was long awaited wish of all VHP workers and this will improve the reach in the area and usher upliftment of Hindu Society.
In the inaugural address, Mr. RabindraNath Chatterjee appealed to all VHP workers to operate for the needy of society efficiently.
