Port Blair, Sep 04: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,099 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,955 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 393 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary doses of vaccine so far stood at 2,55,593.
A total of 8304 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands while the beneficiaries administered precautionary doses of vaccine stood at 8152 today. In South Andaman District, 5073 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which, 21 beneficiaries were 18 and above and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary doses of vaccine stood at 4988.
In North & Middle Andaman District, 3172 beneficiaries were vaccinated, out of which, 03 beneficiaries were 18 and above and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary doses of vaccine stood at 3105.
In Nicobar District, 59 beneficiaries were administered a precautionary dose of vaccine.
