Port Blair, Dec 18: SPARSHA, Society for Promotion of Serve Humanity among Youths, a not-for-profit NGO, registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 launched its “Give it Back” campaign through “Cloth Sharing” initiative at Community Hall Anna Nagar, Hope Town on 18 December, 2022.
Speaking on the occasion, ward member GP Hope Town Mr.Pitrus, lauded the effort of SPARSHA in reaching out to the needy villagers. President SPARSHA Debkumar Bhadra briefed the gathering about the Give it Back campaign launched by SPARSHA which is aimed at helping the needy section of the society through various social sector intervention programs. Cloth Share is one such initiative which has been launched from Anna Nagar Village under Gram Panchayat Hope Town. In the days to come, SPARSHA will conduct such programs in other villages in rural South Andaman. About 60 villagers participated in the program alongside the office bearers of SPARSHA. Earlier Ajay Singh, General Secretary SPARSHA welcomed the gathering. The program was conducted by TS Rao, Organizing Secretary SPARSHA.
