Port Blair Dec 12: The team of Police Station Ograbraj has busted a Narcotics trafficking module in the area and in raids spanning 2 days and booked four persons under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 with a recovery of 225 grams of illicit Ganja.
On 08/12/2022, acting upon credible information a team comprising of SI T Dilla Rao, SHO, PS Ograbraj, SI Tejeswar Rao, HCs Ashok Roy, R .K. Rathore, PCs Molina, Vishal Kumar, Firoz was constituted under the supervision of Mr.Arshdeep Singh Panwar, SDPO Bambooflat, conducted a two day long operation leading to arrests of Rakesh Mondal S/o Mr. Motilal Mondal (38)yrsPvt. Worker R/o Tsunami Shelter, Chouldari, Mohd. Miraj Ansari S/o MohdKalimuddin Ansari R/o Tushnabad, Akash Biswas S/o Mr. Raju Biswas R/oHaddo, Ward No 01 and S. Poowathi Raja S/o Mr. Subbaiah R/o Haddo, Sunder Colony who all were involved in trafficking of Ganja in various parts of South Andaman district. A total of 225 grams of Ganja were recovered in the operation. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
