Port Blair, Nov 24: A delegation led by Miss V.K.MariyamBibi Zilla parishad member, Bambooflat along with Mrs. Dhana Rekha, ZPM Shorepoint, Mr. A. Ummer ZPM, Wimberlygunj and Mrs. Rasheeda bibi Pradhan Hopetown met Mr. Arjun Sharma, IAS Secretary (Health) yesterday and discussed about the problems being faced by the patients due to non- availability of ultrasound facility in CHC Bambooflat for last few days due to transfer of doctors from CHC Bambooflat. They requested one Radiologist to take ultrasound at least once in a week as the public has to wait for a long time to get a date for ultrasound at GB pant hospital. They also demanded for one Pediatrician to be appointed at CHC Bambooflat for taking care of child’s health. They expressed their gratitude towards the Secretary (health) and DHS for providing Gynecologist, Surgeon at CHC Bambooflat for giving better health care facilities to the people.The Secretary assured the delegation to do the needful at the earliest.
