Port Blair, Nov 17: Following the request placed by the President, AATO Mr. M.Vinod, a meeting was conducted at the conference hall of Airport Authority of India conference hall. Mr. M.Vinod and Mr. K.Hamza, General Secretary, attended themeeting in the presence of AAI officials and the parking contractor.
It was decided that no fees will be charged for any kind of vehicles comingto drop passengers at VSI Airport Port Blair for up to 5 minutes duration.Also, the contractor has agreed to introduce a monthly pass for regularvisiting vehicles.
Mr. Vinod has expressed gratitude to Airport Director,VSI Airport for the prompt action and the relief to the tourist vehicleowners who were otherwise being charged Rs.40 per visit even to drop-offthe guests.
