National Constitution Day

Port Blair, Nov 27: Every year the National Constitution Day is celebrated all over the country on 26th November by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan to create awareness about the basic principles and spirit of the Indian Constitution among the common people and especially the youth and to spread awareness about the Constitution among their peer groups. Also be involved in spreading awareness.

Today, organized various activities by Nehru Yuva Kendra Port Blair in Maharashtra Mandal Auditorium and Kendriya Vidyalaya like Reading of the Constitution Preamble, Awareness on Fundamental Duties and Fundamental Rights, conducting lecture and awareness, taking pledge on Fundamental Duties, Conducting Duties Dialogue, Our Constitution also organized quiz competition.

On the occasion, Mr. Alok Kumar Chaturvedi, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 was the chief guest while Dr. RGS Baghel, JNRM, Dr. Sunita Patil, Mr. Gyanendra Pratap Singh, PGT History, Mr. Hitesh Kumar Sharma, TGT, SST also extended their support to make the youth aware and assisted the program in successfully organizing the quiz competition. The Chief Guest aware the youth about the basic principles and spirit of the Indian Constitution. While Dr RGS Baghel, JNRM enabled the present generation to know the fundamental duties and Rights and youth got the qualities of a responsible and productive citizen rendered. Also discussed to spread the importance of the Constitution of India. Dr BR Ambedkar’s message also shares to youth on equality and affirmative action and how these will be helpful for the growth and development of our country.

Earlier, Mr. Gopal Ch. Biswas of Nehru Yuva Kendra coordinated the program and gave a vote of thanks along with the welcome speech.
