Port Blair, Sep 06: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi is offering a dual degree programme from July 2022 cycle that will allow a student pursuing a degree from any other varsity to study a degree at IGNOU online or in the Open and Distance Learning (ODL).
The students can pursue only two academic programmes simultaneously at the UG and PG levels subjects to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria for admission to each of the two programme (s) in the following manner: One programme in regular/ODL/Online mode from an institution other than IGNOU along with one programme in ODL/Online mode from IGNOU or both programmes in ODL or online mode from IGNOU will be permitted in Two separate admission cycles only or in case of two UG/PG programmes in online mode taken in two separate admission cycles in the same academic year i.e. one programme in January and another programme in July or in case of one UG/PG programme in ODL and other in online mode, the admission can be taken in two separate admission cycles in the same academic year i.e. one programme in January and another programme in July.
