Port Blair, Sept 25: Rotary Club of Port Blair in coordination with A&N Islands Private Practicing Doctors Association conducted free eye & dental camp at Urmilapur a remote village in middle Andaman on 24 th September.
Rtn B. Dinesh Kumar President Rotary Club, Rtn Rajesh Anand Zonal Secretary, Rtn Rajendra Dixit treasurer in coordination with Smti. Lilly Roy Pradhan Urmilapur, Anil Bepari Ex- Up adyaskh Zilla Parishad, Devan Rao ex Zilla Parishad member did a commendable job to inform villagers so that the poor villagers got maximum benefit of the camp.
Rtn. Dr. Dinesh, Dental Surgeon did free check up for 37 Dental related cases & Smti. Pragati Optometrist did 68 eye check ups ( refractive error cases) 6 cataract cases were screened and free medicines were also distributed. Rotary Club will be distributing spectacles to the patients free of cost within a fortnight.
