Port Blair, Jan 04: The District Administration of South Andaman ensured tolerance towards encroachment on Govt. land, carried out encroachment eviction drive on 03/01/2023 and today on 04/01/2023at Ferrargunj Tehsil.
In Ferrargunj Tehsil the eviction drive carried and the fresh encroachment committed in the shape of fencing were removed at Bambooflat village and restored an area of 1800 sq mtrs and similarly the encroachment committed at Nayashar village in the shape of Temporary structures and temporary fencing measuring an area of 2000 Sq mtrs were removed and restored to the Govt. khata.
