Port Blair, Jan 19: The Department of Agriculture South Andaman organized a two day training program on mushroom cultivation with Agricultural Technology Management Agency (UTATMA) at Mrs. Monica Smith’s field in which 20 ladies of Wimberlygunj and Kanyapuram village belonging to the self help group had participated. The circle in-charge Mr. Daniel Antony explained about the various types of mushroom cultivation and its benefits. Mr. K. Venkat Ram Babu pradhan of Wimberlygunj was also present in the training. He distributed the kits to all the trainees. Mrs. N. Shajita Bhanu AFA, Mrs.LipikaRajwanshi BTM, Mrs. V.Sunitha Kumar ATM and Mr. K.Rajesh Kumar ATM demonstrated the preparation of mushroom cultivation.
