JatmikoHeruPrasetyo, Director for South & Central Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia with delegates from Indonesia & Shri VishvasSapkal, Joint Secretary (South), Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi alongwith Central Ministry Officers of India to attend 2nd Joint Task Force Committee meeting to be held at A&N Islands, met Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), the Lt Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency at Raj Niwas. Discussed actions taken subsequent to 1st Joint Task Force meeting and way forward.
Chalked out plans to enhance connectivity between A&N Islands and Aceh Province in various sectors viz. Trade and investment, connectivity, direct flights, development of Port related infrastructure, sustainable harvesting of Marine resources & Fisheries, Tourism & Cultural Exchanges, Academic, Science and Technology.
