Civic Chief writes to IOC regarding shortage of LPG in Port Blair

Port Blair, Aug 26: The Chairperson Port Blair Municipal Mrs. U. Kavitha has written a letter to the Indian Oil Corporation, Port Blair regarding the shortage of LPG cylinders.

            In the letter, she raised the question regarding why the IOC is not evaluating the demand and assuring the availability in consensus to the projected demand. Further in her letter, the problems faced by the general public due to the unscheduled and untimely distribution system of LPG cylinders have been briefly described.

            The Chairperson has requested the authorities concerned of the IOC to look into the issue and resolve the matters as early as possible. A copy of the same has been forwarded to the Secretary (Civil Supplies), A&N Administration with the request to look into the matter and for an early solution to the problem of shortage of LPG supply.
