Port Blair, Mar 23: The Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council Mrs. S Selvi along with Mr. Dharmendra Narayan, Sr. Vice Chairperson, Mr. B Padmanabhan, Jr. Vice Chairperson and officials of the Council met with Mr. Arjun Sharma (IAS), Secretary (PWD) and discussed various issues related to water supply and distribution. The Secretary (PWD) after a persistent hearing assured every possible help and cooperation from his side to solve the water crisis issue and also asked the officials to come up with projects of saving water keeping in mind the future. Mr. S Shahul Hameed, Councillor, Ward No.1 and Mr. Rajesh Pal Govind, Councillor, Ward No.18 was also present during the meeting.
