Awareness Programme Organizes by Central Bureau of Communicationduring the Integrated Communication Outreach Programme on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Port Blair, Nov 18: All Women should Aware about implementing various schemes for women and child development by Central Govt. says Mrs. Pramila Kumari, Zilla Parishaad Chairman, South Andaman in a awareness programme organized by Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Port Blair during the Integrated Communication Outreach Programme on *Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan & Central Welfare Schemes* at Community Hall –Chouldari, South Andaman today.While addressing Mrs.Pramila Kumari said, Women empowerment is very crucial at this time, since she takes care of the whole family. Our people are very talented and this programme would help to make people aware about various Govt. schemes. There are many schemes of which people are not aware of and somehow lacking behind. We need to propagate all such schemes to people at the ground level. In our area, many people are not aware of the government schemes run for them. Such programs will help to educate them. These  programmes should be more arranged in rural areas to bridge the communication gap. The PM’s vision is to develop India by uplifting the Poor. We should be aware to move ahead in our life and to lead the world.While delivering the special address Dr. Supriya Roy emphasized the importance of Nutrition, women and child care.  Mrs.Chaitali Roy, Samity Member and Mrs.Tapasi Dos, Pradhan, Chouldari Panchayat participated.Mr. K. Anandha Prabu, Field Publicity Officer, Presided over the programme and Mr. M. Murali, Technical Assistant Welcomed the gatherings.Rangoli competition was held for women and winners were awarded prizes.
