Awareness Program on Successful Cooperative Business Modal at Govt. Senior Secondary School,Tushnabad

Port Blair, Oct 19: With the aim to create awareness among the students of school and colleges, about the concept and importance of cooperatives, the National Cooperative Union of India, Cooperative Education Field Project (Ministry of Cooperation) A & N Island unit has organized a “Awareness Program on Successful Cooperative Business Modal” at Govt. Senior Secondary School, Tushnabad today (19.10.2022). Mr. Mohammed Hanifa, Principal, Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Tushnabad was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the gathering the chief guest has said that the concept of cooperative is very much important, it can play a vital role for socio-economic upliftment of people. He expressed his happiness towards the efforts of National Cooperative Union of India, Coop. Education Field Project, A&N Island unit for creating awareness among the students about this valuable concept. Welcoming the gathering Mr. Surendra Nath Singh, Project Officer, National Coop. Union of India, Cooperative Education Field Project A & N Island unit has said that the platform of cooperative is very much powerful where members can work together for their common interest of socio-economic reforms. He urged the senior students of the school to choose cooperative as their carrier. Miss NilimaRari, Faculty member, Rajiv Gandhi Cooperative Training Centre, Teylerabad briefed the students about cooperative formation and its principles. The officials from Animal Husbandry and Health department were also highlighted various developmental programs being implemented by their department. 85 senior students and staff of Govt.
