ANTCC observes 78th Birth Anniversary of Late. Rajiv Gandhi

Port Blair, Aug 21: Along with the rest parts of India, The 78th Birth Anniversary of Late. Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime minister of India was observed at Gandhi Bhavan, Port Blair.

            At the outset, Mr. RangalalHalder, President, ANTCC has garlanded the portrait of Late. Rajiv Gandhi followed by the floral tribute by the leaders and members of the functionaries of the State Congress Committee, District Congress Committee, Block Congress Committee,

Seva Dal, Youth Congress, NSUI, INTUC, City Congress, Mahila Congress Committee and Three Zonal Coordinators, Fisherman Congress Committee, Congress Municipal Councillors, Congress PRI Members and the general public attended this programme. Mr. RangalalHalder has given a brief note to celebrate the day as Harmony Day in our Nation. The message of this day is that people with different religions and beliefs should live peacefully in the country and refrain from violence and make this day instil communal harmony, unity, goodwill and love in the society. He especially appreciated the Women for becoming a root and strength to the Congress Party.
