Port Blair, Jan 23: Along with the entire Nation, Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee celebrated the 126th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose today at 11:00 AM in Congress Office, Port Blair.
ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder garlanded the portrait of Netaji followed by a floral tribute by The Chief Organizer-Congress Seva Dal, City Congress President , NSUI State President, Mahila Congress, All Senior leaders and Party workers present there.
Mr. Rangalal Halder said that this day was Observed so as to remember and honor Netaji’s indomitable spirit and selfless service towards the Nation.Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was a revolutionary freedom fighter who led the Indian National Congress as its President in 1938 and his contributions shall always be remembered by every Indian.
He further said that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a prominent leader in India during the period of British rule as he had laid various contributions and efforts to build a force known as the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army) to serve the Nation.
