Allu Arjun Army Andaman with PBMC and AHHANI conducts Cleanliness Drive Ward No.14, Junglighat

Port Blair, Aug 24: As part of AzadikaAmritMahotsav, the Allu Arjun Army Andaman in collaboration with PBMC and Andaman Helping Hands, A&N Islands (AHHANI) conducted a Cleanliness Drive on 21st August 2022 at Tirupathi Temple Basthi, Ward No.14, Junglighat, Port Blair.

            The Cleanliness Drive was organized with the high spirit and motive of Clean India and raised the slogans ‘SwatchhBharath-Shreshth Bharat’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ which were graced and participated in this event by a philanthropist Dr.Muruganandam, ‘Scientist D’, RMRCPB, ICMR, Port Blair.

            During this drive, volunteers of Allu Arjun Army Andaman and AHHANI removed a total of 21 bags of garbage in front of Tirupathi Temple which consisted of all types of mixed garbage like plastics materials, Alcoholic bottles, Juice bottles, Water bottles, Tobacco wrappers and plastic bags followed by Plastic Fish Baskets, wastage clothes, waste Fishing Nets, etc. Accordingly, the same was segregated during this drive by our team and handed over to PBMC for further necessary action.

            The Allu Arjun Army Andaman conveyed that the cleaning drives cannot be successful until and unless the support of the masses. The goal of a clean India cannot be achieved by one person, or by Government functionaries alone, it has to be done by 135 crores people of India.

They also thanked PBMC for providing a vehicle facility for the removal and disposal of the accumulated garbage.
