Port Blair, Sep 13: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Former Member of Parliament, A&N Islands met the Chief Secretary and Secretary (Home) to appraise the issue of serious unemployment in the Islands. He requested to fill up vacant posts at the earliest.
Mr. Ray stated that the Administration is in the process of filling up approximately 12800 posts (NG) under various categories in the near future. The Chief Secretary assured that the steps have been initiated by the Administration to provide relief to the local unemployed youth of the territory. The Former MP thanked the Administration for initiating the steps and hoped that all vacancies will be filled soon.
